International guests onboard

This weekend two of my friends Petr from Czech and Lukasz from Poland is sailing with me. We set out in heavy rain and 16 m/s SW wind on Friday but only after 45 min the rain stopped. As we turned North we set sail and kept on going all the way to Skärhamn via Marstrand. The weather and wind improved during the day and just before arriving in Skärhamn the sun gave us a nice warm feeling.

Non of the guy’s are experienced sailors but they did fantastic in these somewhat harder conditions.

On Saturday the weather was great with clear blue sky and 3-5 m/s SW wind. We kept going North via Kyrkesund and Mollösund as I wanted to give them a feel for what Swedish cost is looking like and the liked it.

We turned at Kråkesunds gap towards Kärringön and we did some ocean sailing down to Marstrand. We got a very nice upwind sailing and we needed to tack several times in a increasing wind that reached 7 – 8 m/s as we entered Marstrand. A great day!

A well deserved beer at Marstrand

Today We will head back to Gothenburg and the wind is again back to close to gale, very rapid weather shifts, Global warming??
